I had the most amazing time during the Six Week Editing Workshop. Going from the learning of the industry's tools to the editing of pieces to showcase in my video reel. I was provided with lots of video footage and had the opportunity to cut at least three videos. One of those, cut on Final Cut Pro 7, was in standard definition, and let's face it, nobody watches SD videos anymore. So I chose to keep the other two, cut on Final Cut Pro X and Avid Media Composer. I choose to use Final Cut Pro X to cut a promo, because it's probably the best at it, while Avid Media Composer is much more suited to narrative pieces. It was my first experience on those to softwares, and I choose to continue on with Avid Media Composer to cut the following short film.
