In the course of summer 2013, I was hired by belgian director Jean-Jacques Péché to color grade his latest documentary: Re-enchanting the World. I then spend a few days in the color room with him, grading every single one shot with the three-way color corrector on Final Cut Pro 7. The documentary was shot with Sony DV Cam cameras and we felt no need of using a more efficient color grading software. It needed to be simple and easy, most of the shots looked quite nice without any adjustements. When the work was done, he asked me to design both opening and closing credits. I did so with After Effects, and then moved the project to Adobe Premiere Pro to conform, add the titles and make the latest adjustements to the color grading before exporting the master file that had to be send to the RTBF (national belgian TV).
