I had the wonderful chance to work on a feature film. Belgian editor Thierry Douley and director Vivian Goffette asked me to create the Opening credits for the film "Yam Dam", which I accepted. I spent two weeks working with photographs that Vivian took during his journey in Africa. He wanted to give the impression that the photographs were screened in front of peoples, and were narrated by the film's main character. The screening was to fade into the lens flare of the projector, while the main character still goes on with his lines. I used Photoshop to give the photographs a screened-look with chromatic aberrations, and After Effects to animate with a Ken Burns effect. Director Vivan Goffette had a precide idea of the camera movements he wanted on the photographs and lead me during my work.
